Seeking To Help Individuals in Need of Rehabilitation
Individuals suffering from an injury or recovering from surgery or a stroke are often prescribed physical therapy sessions in a hospital or rehabilitation facility. These visits can be costly and are not always convenient to attend. It can be difficult for family members to transport the patient there, especially if they have limited mobility. For individuals who have mobility, it is often simply inconvenient to attend physical therapy outside of the home, and even more so for those individuals who work or are in school full time.
An effective alternative is needed, and this is where Circumotion comes in. Circumotion is a device designed to improve blood circulation, which improves the flow of oxygenated blood to the muscles and back to the heart. It also stretches the user’s muscles, improving the individual’s flexibility, range of motion, and overall pain relief. The invention is comprised of a box-shaped support base including an oscillating surface plate controlled by a motor with varying speeds. The device may also include power supply and a remote control unit configured with a power on-off button and adjustable speed switch. The switch may allow a user to change speeds from 0 to 120 RPM. The device can be used for therapy on many different areas, including neck, back, spine, arm, leg, ankle, knee, and more. The device moves left and right and can be positioned in various ways to accommodate different body parts. The exact specifications may vary.
Our Motivation
We believe that every individual should have the opportunity to live the healthiest life that they can live.We feel as though Circumotion may help people in need of rehabilitation achieve it.
